This audit examined whether the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure ensured the delivery of interim bus services between communities in northern B.C. and whether the ministry had a plan to develop a long-term ground transportation services in the region. 

An Independent Audit of Commercial Vehicle Safety

In this audit, we looked at whether the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia and the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General have effectively managed their respective programs to promote the safe operation of commercial vehicles on B.C. roads.

Progress Audit: Evergreen Line Rapid Transit Project

This progress audit looked at whether the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, and Partnerships BC have fairly and accurately represented their progress implementing the recommendations made in Audit of the Evergreen Line Rapid Transit System, originally published in March 2013.

Follow-up on the Missing Women Commission of Inquiry

This report looks at how the B.C. government has responded to selected recommendations made by the 2012 Missing Women Commission of Inquiry. We examined government's response to each selected recommendation, including their commitments, actions, planned actions, and whether government can demonstrate that they have addressed the intent of the recommendation.

Shaping Transit's Future in British Columbia

This report provides an overview of the three areas that are key in shaping the future of transit: policy and governance, funding and design of transit services. It also includes observations regarding the context in which BC Transit is pursuing this significant growth strategy. In addition, it contains questions for provincial ministries, BC Transit, and local governments to consider as they work to increase ridership and develop a sustainable transportation system.
