Financial Audits

Financial audits are the majority of our activity. Financial audits usually state whether an organization's financial statements are fairly presented and free of material misstatements (significant errors). We also audit other financial information, such as compliance with federal agreements. Financial audits are conducted in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS).

We audit financial statements and provide a formal auditor’s opinion. This opinion (or report) is attached to the front of the organization’s financial statements to show whether the statements meet generally accepted accounting principles and that they have been scrutinized by an independent auditor.

We invite you to read our Financial Statement Audit Coverage Plan, our service plan, and our annual report.
