Office of the Auditor General of BC - Update re: COVID-19

COVID-19 has been affecting countries around the world and concerns have been growing within Canada. The safety and health of staff at the Office of the Auditor General, as well as the well-being of our auditees, is of utmost importance to us. Recognizing that social distancing is an effective way to slow the spread of the virus, and to ensure business continuity, all but essential OAG staff will be working remotely while taking care of their health, family and community. We have also cancelled all travel until further notice. Audit teams will be working with their key contacts to determine how best to continue audit work by phone and online.

Meet the Acting Auditor General

Russ Jones FCPA, FCA, ICD.D

Russ Jones is the Acting Auditor General of British Columbia. Prior to his appointment, he was the Deputy Auditor General at the office. He has an extensive background in accounting, financial reporting and auditing in the public sector.
