Board Use of Information

What do board members think about the information they receive to carry out their responsibilities? This report examines the results of a survey sent to public sector board members in B.C. regarding their access to and use of information.

The report was discussed by the Legislative Assembly’s Select Standing Committee on Public Accounts on June 10, 2010.

Copies of the surveys can be downloaded below, and boards are also encouraged to review the guidelines we prepared to assist them in their use of information.
