Requirements
Accounting Students:
Applicants will have completed bachelor’s
level training and be committed to actively seeking a professional accounting
designation. Depending on the organization's need at the time, students may
be hired at various levels in the certification education and experience path.
Financial Auditors:
Applicants will possess an accounting designation,
preferably supplemented by recent public sector auditing experience.
Compliance Auditors:
Applicants will typically possess an accounting
designation; although specialized legal or environment training may be appropriate.
Performance Auditors:
Applicants will have significant professional
experience in performance auditing, program evaluation, operational review,
management consulting or an equivalent discipline, complemented by relevant
post-secondary education or a professional accounting designation.
Information Technology Professionals:
Applicants will have completed formal education
in computer science with a technical degree, diploma or certificate, and support
experience, preferably for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.
Preference may be shown for those with financial and administration experience.
