Follow Up Reports
Normally, each of our audit reports to the Legislative Assembly contains recommendations to improve the performance of government programs. Our recommendations are intended to be practicable and add value. But Legislators have told us we need to do more. In addition to making recommendations, they want us to follow-up on what has been done to bring our recommendations to life. For this reason, one year after we issue a report, we ask for an update from the relevant ministry on what has been done in relation to each of our recommendations. We review these responses, making further enquiries as necessary, and publish them in October and April each year.
